ORS Chairman Visits ORSKOREA Headquarters and the Turkish Embassy | ORS 회장, 오알에스코리아 본사 및 튀르키예 대사관 방문

Ahmet Aslan, Chairman of ORS, visited the ORSKOREA headquarters as part of his visit to Korea. ORSKOREA has maintained a close partnership with ORS, Türkiye’s largest bearing manufacturer, since first establishing a customer–supplier relationship in 2010. In 2019, ORSKOREA received investment from ORS and has since grown into the first joint venture in Korea with Turkish capital participation.

The visit was held to review ORSKOREA’s manufacturing infrastructure and technological capabilities, and to discuss its role and future direction within the global ORS network.

아흐멧 아슬란 ORS 회장은 방한 일정의 일환으로 오알에스코리아 본사를 방문했습니다. 오알에스코리아는 튀르키예 최대 베어링 제조사인 ORS와 2010년 고객사와 공급사 관계로 처음 인연을 맺은 이후 긴밀한 협력을 이어왔으며, 2019년 ORS로부터 투자를 유치하며 최초로 튀르키예 자본이 참여한 합작법인으로 성장했습니다.

이번 ORS 회장의 방문은 오알에스코리아의 제조 인프라와 기술력을 직접 확인하고, ORS의 글로벌 네트워크 내에서 오알에스코리아의 역할과 향후 방향성을 논의하기 위해 마련되었습니다.

On the day, Ahmet Aslan, Chairman of ORS, toured key machinery and production areas to review the overall manufacturing process at ORSKOREA. Along with explanations on equipment operations and technical strengths, discussions were also held on ORSKOREA’s competitiveness within Korea’s manufacturing environment and the direction of future collaboration.

이날 아흐멧 아슬란 ORS 회장은 주요 기계 설비와 작업 현장을 직접 둘러보며 오알에스코리아의 생산 공정 전반을 확인했습니다. 설비 운영과 기술적 강점에 대한 설명과 함께, 한국 제조 환경에서 오알에스코리아가 갖는 경쟁력과 향후 협력 방향에 대한 논의도 이어졌습니다.

Following his visit to the ORSKOREA headquarters, Ahmet Aslan, Chairman of ORS, visited the Turkish Embassy in the Republic of Korea and met with the Turkish Ambassador. During the meeting, discussions focused on the environment and on-the-ground experiences involved in expanding business through cooperation with the Korean market from the perspective of Turkish manufacturing companies.

오알에스코리아 본사 방문에 이어 아흐멧 아슬란 ORS 회장은 주한 튀르키예 대한민국 대사관을 방문해 튀르키예 대사와 만남을 가졌습니다. 이 자리에서는 튀르키예 제조 기업이 한국 시장과 협력하며 사업을 확장하는 과정에서 경험하는 환경과 현장의 이야기를 중심으로 다양한 의견이 오갔습니다.

Views were shared on the structure and technological competitiveness of Korea’s manufacturing industry, as well as its position in the global market, alongside discussions on examples of Turkish companies’ entry into Korea and their collaboration experiences. The conversation also covered trends in the global manufacturing industry, supply chain conditions, and institutional factors affecting business activities, providing an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the future direction of industrial exchange between Korea and Türkiye. The meeting concluded as a meaningful exchange that helped broaden mutual understanding at the intersection of industry and diplomacy.

한국 제조 산업의 구조와 기술 경쟁력, 글로벌 시장에서의 위치에 대한 시각을 공유하는 한편, 튀르키예 기업의 한국 진출 사례와 협력 경험에 대한 대화도 이어졌습니다. 또한 글로벌 제조 산업의 흐름과 공급망 환경, 기업 활동에 영향을 미치는 제도적 요소 등에 대해서도 의견을 나누며, 향후 한국과 튀르키예 간 산업 교류가 나아갈 방향에 대해 생각을 공유하는 시간을 가졌습니다. 이번 만남은 기업과 외교 현장이 맞닿는 지점에서 서로의 이해를 넓히는 의미 있는 교류로 마무리됐습니다.
