On 4th of June, 2020 Managing Director Shim Jho Whoun (James) from ORSKOREA (오알에스코리아, www.orskorea.com) and the management team members from ORS Bearings visited the United Nations Memorial Cemetery in Korea (UNMCK) to pay their respect to war veterans from Türkiye.

Turkey and Korea are brother nations

Turkey was one of the first countries that sent its military forces to aid Korea during the Korean War (1950-1953).

When the Korean War broke out, the Turkish government decided to send troops and received 5,000 applications. However, the Turkish army, saying, "We cannot allow our brother country to be trampled by the communist forces," received a total of 15,000 applications, and these troops were fully deployed to the Korean War.

"Neither Turkey nor Korea will ever forget the Turkish UN forces who, calling us their brother country, loved our country as much as they loved their own, defended us, and helped us in every way possible, including caring for Korean war orphans."

The brother relationship of Türkiye and Korea will be everlasting.
