At the 2026 Foreign Company Day, Lidia Shim, General Manager of ORSKOREA, delivered a presentation on a best-practice case of collaboration between a foreign-invested company and Korean businesses.
The presentation introduced the background of ORS Bearings’ investment in Korea and the development of ORSKOREA, highlighting how cooperation between global manufacturing expertise and Korean engineering capabilities has evolved over time.
It also covered ORSKOREA’s capabilities in ultra-precision grinding machines, high-frequency spindles, turnkey and automation solutions, as well as co-development examples for semiconductor spindle applications and production equipment for robotic applications.
Through the presentation, ORSKOREA shared how foreign investment can develop into long-term technical cooperation and manufacturing partnerships within Korea’s industrial ecosystem.
