Manufacturing Expo 2026 is a major manufacturing and supporting industries exhibition held in Bangkok, Thailand. The event will take place from June 17 to 20, 2026, at BITEC, Bangkok, bringing together machinery, production technologies, and industrial solutions for manufacturers across ASEAN. It consists of seven specialized shows covering plastics manufacturing, mold and die production, automotive parts, robotics and automation, electronics manufacturing, surface finishing, and factory management solutions.

The exhibition is expected to gather more than 2,000 exhibitors from 30 countries and over 90,000 participants from across ASEAN. In addition to the exhibition floor, Manufacturing Expo 2026 will feature conference sessions and industry programs related to automation, electronics, automotive manufacturing, sustainable factory management, and industrial transformation, making it a practical platform to explore both manufacturing technologies and market trends in one venue.

Thailand remains one of ASEAN’s key automotive manufacturing bases, with a well-developed supplier network for vehicles, components, and production equipment. In 2024, Thailand produced approximately 1.47 million vehicles, with a large share built for export markets. This export-oriented structure means that manufacturers need to manage not only production volume, but also consistent quality, process reliability, and equipment stability across repeated manufacturing operations.

At the same time, Thailand’s automotive industry is moving through a transition period. Existing internal combustion engine vehicle production continues to support the country’s manufacturing base, while electric vehicle investment and local parts sourcing are becoming increasingly important. Krungsri Research projects Thailand’s automotive parts production to grow by around 1.5–2.5% per year during 2026–2028, supported partly by EV manufacturing capacity expansion. Thailand’s BOI has also introduced measures to promote locally manufactured components in the EV and electrical appliance industries, reinforcing the need for stronger domestic supply chains.

For automotive parts manufacturers, this market direction creates a clear technical requirement: machining processes must become more stable, repeatable, and maintenance-friendly.
